The timely implementation of the "Trump Route" (TRIPP - the 42-kilometer section of the Zangezur corridor that should pass through the territory of Armenia) project is of paramount importance for the South Caucasus region.

Axar.az reports that Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov stated this during his speech at the 32nd meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council (MCC) in Vienna.

J. Bayramov emphasized that this multimodal route will include railway, highway, and other communications.

"TRIPP should ensure unhindered communication between the main part of Azerbaijan and the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and should also bring benefits to Armenia. As has been repeatedly stated, the opening of communications (in the region - ed.) is not limited only to ensuring the stability of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, but also brings significant benefits on a larger scale," the Azerbaijani Foreign Minister said.
