U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday pointed to the migrant surge in Spain's North African enclave of Ceuta, warning that the United States could face a similar situation if Democrats return to power.

Axar.az reports that Trump told Fox News, referring to Democrats winning future elections.

"It's terrible. Remember that picture. That's going to be us in three years if the wrong side gets in,"

His comments came as Spain deployed its military after tens of thousands of migrants overwhelmed Ceuta. Spanish officials said at least 18 people died during the crossings.

Trump added: "If the Democrats get in, you will not live a very good life."
