Asadov meets Turkmen President in Ashgabat

Azerbaijani Prime Minister Ali Asadov, who is on a working visit to Ashgabat, met with Turkmenistan President Sardar Berdimuhamedov.

Axar.az reports that the Cabinet of Ministers published a statement on this.

A. Asadov conveyed the greetings of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and congratulations on the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan's permanent neutrality to the head of state of this country.

Sardar Berdimuhamedov expressed gratitude for the greetings and congratulations of President Ilham Aliyev, and asked him to convey his greetings to the head of state of Azerbaijan.

The meeting emphasized the high level of political dialogue between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan and discussed the prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
