Putin and Aliyev hold warm phone call, Kremlin says

The phone call held on Wednesday between Russian President Vladimir Putin and Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev was very warm and timely, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing.

Axar.az informs “A telephone conversation between Presidents Putin and Aliyev took place. It was a very, very warm and necessary conversation,” he said.

According to the Kremlin representative, the Russian leader warmly congratulated Aliyev on his birthday. The two presidents also exchanged New Year greetings and discussed the current situation.
