Preparations are underway for Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s visit to Tehran.

Axar.az reports that Iran’s ambassador to Azerbaijan, Mojtaba Demirchilou, said this in an interview with "Teleqrаf".

According to the ambassador, high-level reciprocal visits are of particular importance for the dynamic development of bilateral relations.

“Following the visits of President Masoud Pezeshkian to Baku and Khankendi, preparations are now being made for the Azerbaijani president’s visit to Tehran. These visits are expected to further strengthen political, economic and cultural cooperation. The sincere and friendly relations between the two heads of state also make a significant contribution to this process,” he said.
