Missiles launched from Iran under investigation

“The identity of those who ordered the missiles fired from Iran toward Azerbaijan and Turkiye is being investigated," said Fuat Oktay, Fuat Oktay, Chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye.

Axar.az reports, citing APА, Oktay stated that these attacks bring no benefit to Iran.

“We frequently discuss this issue with Azerbaijan. Missiles being fired from Iran toward both Azerbaijan and Turkiye should never have happened. Because Azerbaijan and Turkiye are among the countries that most strongly express that this war is meaningless.

The possibility of provocations is also being seriously discussed here. Because such attacks by Iran against the two countries bring it no benefit. Masoud Pezeshkian also stated that these attacks were not carried out by Iran.”

Fuat Oktay emphasized that it is important to investigate who ordered the missile attacks on Azerbaijan and Turkiye.

“Yes, it is known that the missile was launched from Iranian territory and it is possible that the person who pressed the button is Iranian. However, the main issue is to investigate on whose orders that button was pressed,” he noted.
