Azerbaijan, Iran discuss regional tensions in phone call

Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a phone call with Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated.

Axar.az reports that during the discussion, both ministers expressed deep concern over the escalating tensions in the region.

They highlighted the need to strengthen diplomatic efforts to bring military clashes in the area to a swift end.

The two officials also exchanged views on bilateral matters of mutual interest.
