India-Azerbaijan officials set to meet this week

India and Azerbaijan are taking steps to improve relations.

Axar.az informs, citing Economic Times, a senior Indian official is expected to travel to Baku for the foreign office consultations this week.

India recently thanked Azerbaijan for helping evacuate around 200 of its nationals from Iran amid the West Asia conflict. This was conveyed during a meeting in Baku on Wednesday between Azerbaijan's foreign minister Jeyhun Bayramov and India's newly appointed ambassador to Azerbaijan Abhay Kumar.
