Asadov meets Turkish Parliament Speaker Kurtulmush

On June 24, Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov met with a delegation led by Numan Kurtulmush, Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye (GNAT), in Baku.

Axar.az reports that during the meeting, the sides described the hosting of the 20th Session of the Conference of the Parliamentary Union of the OIC Member States in Baku as an important event.

They praised the successful development of Azerbaijan-Turkiye relations in all areas, based on brotherhood, alliance, and mutual trust.

Emphasizing that interparliamentary cooperation is an important component of bilateral relations, the parties highlighted the significance of close contacts and reciprocal visits between the legislative bodies of the two countries.

The sides expressed confidence that the Azerbaijan-Turkiye strategic partnership would continue to gain new momentum and discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
