France's zeal serves to aggravate the issue, Azerbaijan's Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeyhun Bayramov told journalists.

Axar.az reports that Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said this in his statement to journalists.

"After the meeting initiated by Scholz, the significance of developing the peace process was mentioned and agreed upon. But immediately after that, the French President's statement, then the visit of the French Minister of Defense to Armenia, and his provocative statements are examples of this," Bayramov said.

The Minister underlined that Azerbaijan's restoration of its territorial integrity and sovereignty worries many institutions and centres: "As a result, their favourite toys, so to speak, are being lost."
