By the end of 2027, 9 solar and wind power plants will be commissioned. Their energy potential is equal to 2 gigawatts. By 2030, 10 additional wind and solar power plants will be built, the potential of which is up to 5 gigawatts.

Axar.az reports that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev said these words at a joint press conference with German Chancellor Olaf Scholtz in Berlin on April 26.

Emphasizing that Azerbaijan is actively working to export green energy to Europe, the head of state said:

"I think that Azerbaijan, which is a supplier of natural gas, will also be a supplier of green energy for Europe."
