First Minister of Scotland Hamza Yusif has resigned.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by Reuters.

It was reported that H. Yusif resigned from his post because he was in the minority in the parliament after his decision to cancel the coalition agreement with the Scottish "Greens" Party.

He said it was time for someone else to lead the Scottish government.

It should be noted that Humza Yousaf was the 6th Prime Minister of Scotland and took office on March 29, 2023.
