Pezeshkian promises to keep election commitments

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian gave his first extensive interview last night.

Axar.az informs that “Azad Iran” reported on this.

The report states that although the president wished to speak on the state television, the interview was conducted at the Presidential Administration according to protocol.

Masoud Pezeshkian touched on the promises he made to the people during the presidential election, saying, “I thank the people for their trust and promise that I will not forget what I said,” Pezeshkian stated.

It is noted that one of Pezeshkian's promises is to ensure education in the native language for Azerbaijanis in Iran.
