US supports Mongolia amid Putin's visit

Amidst Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Ulaanbaatar, the US understands the situation Mongolia is in and expresses its support.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Matthew Miller, spokesperson for the US State Department.

"We understand that Mongolia is in a difficult situation. We will continue to support Mongolia, but we believe it is important for it to fulfill its international obligations," he said.

It should be noted that Russian President Vladimir Putin was on an official visit to Mongolia on September 2-3.
