Ilham Aliyev sent a letter to Shavkat Mirziyayev

President Ilham Aliyev addressed a congratulatory letter to the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavket Mirziyayev.

Axar.az reports that the President's Press Service has released information about this.

"I heartily congratulate you and your brotherly people on the successful holding of the elections to the Legislative Chamber of the Supreme Assembly of Uzbekistan.

For the first time in the history of brother Uzbekistan, this voting was held under a mixed electoral system and once again clearly demonstrated your country's commitment to the principles of democratic state building.

The results of the voting are a manifestation of your people's trust and confidence in your determined political line, and an expression of their real support for your services in the direction of further development and strengthening of Uzbekistan.

I wish success to the work of the Legislative Chamber of the Supreme Assembly, which will start functioning in its new composition.

Taking this opportunity, I once again convey my sincere congratulations to you, I wish you good health, happiness, and new successes and achievements in your work as a supreme state for the well-being and prosperity of the fraternal people of Uzbekistan," the congratulation said.
