"My participation in the recent BRICS summit in Kazan was important and effective," said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Axar.az reports that he made this statement during a press briefing.

"I would like to express that I am satisfied with my contacts with the President of Azerbaijan. The most important point, in my opinion, was when it was stated during the meeting that in order for Armenia and Azerbaijan to live in peace, not only a peace treaty but also a strategic agreement on how to live as independent states in the coming centuries needs to be concluded," Pashinyan said.

He added that he has certain ideas regarding this strategic agreement.
