On November 13, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with the Vice President of the Republic of Gabon, Joseph Ovondault Berre.

Axar.az reports that the Vice President of Gabon thanked the President of Azerbaijan for the invitation to COP29 and conveyed his congratulations on the event being held in our country.

The President of Azerbaijan noted that Azerbaijan places great importance on the development of relations with African countries.

During the conversation, the issue of official delegations' visits to develop economic ties between the two countries was also discussed.
