If Georgia tries to fulfill the demands of the collective West, it will have to face a direct confrontation with Russia.

Axar.az reports that Armenian expert Tigran Kocharyan stated this while discussing developments in the South Caucasus.

"The West is trying to ignite all possible hotspots and create problems for Russia. They want to create a situation where, even after January 20 (Trump’s inauguration), Donald Trump cannot step outside the interests of the U.S. deep state," he said.

He claimed that Armenia, unlike Georgia, has taken the opposite path:

"What the Armenian authorities are doing is completely illogical. Armenia’s security and economy—everything—will depend on Turkiye and its 'little brother' (referring to Azerbaijan). Armenia has been deprived of state-building structures and those protecting the state; complete Turkification is underway here. Many claim Pashinyan is pro-West or pro-Russia, but no, Pashinyan is fulfilling Turkiyes demands."
