Turkish businessman survives plane crash in Libya -

A plane carrying prominent Turkish businessman Hamdi Akin crashed at Misrata Airport in Libya.

Axar.az reports, citing Turkish media, that the aircraft belonged to Hamdi Akin, founder and chairman of the board of Akfen Holding, one of Turkiye’s largest conglomerates.

The aircraft’s crew members and Hamdi Akin survived the crash.

Libyan airspace is reportedly currently closed.
