Iran's permanent mission to the United Nations has denied the recent claim that U.S. President Donald Trump sent a letter to Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei regarding a new nuclear agreement negotiation offer.

Axar.az informs that this was reported by "Mehr" news agency.

"We have not received such a letter," the Iranian mission stated.

It is noteworthy that Trump had previously announced that he sent a letter to Ali Khamenei offering to start nuclear negotiations.
