Azerbaijan is requesting the extradition of former presidents Robert Kocharian and Serzh Sargsyan, who participated in the battles in Nagorno-Karabakh. However, there is currently a dispute between the two men's teams.

Axar.az reports that a member of Armenia's Republican Party, Eduard Sharmazanov, stated this.

He emphasized that such a thing could be possible under the rule of Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan:

"I had already said in 2021 that if Pashinyan's government continued in power, Baku would demand the surrender of the former presidents. Under the current government, this seems very realistic."
