If U.S. President Donald Trump imposes secondary sanctions; the war could end by the end of the year.
Axar.az reports that this was stated by the Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak.
“Particularly tough U.S. sanctions against buyers of Russian oil could force Putin to stop the war. If Trump follows through on his threat and imposes sanctions on China and India, it would create economic pressure on both Moscow and its key customers — for them, ending the war would be more profitable than risking trade with the U.S.,” he said.
