Poland mobilizes forces to protect airspace

Poland has announced that it has mobilized all available forces to protect its airspace in response to Russia's air strikes on Ukrainian regions on the night of August 30.

Axar.az reports that the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces has released a statement on this.

"In accordance with existing procedures, the operational commander of the Armed Forces has mobilized all forces and means at his disposal, fighter jets have taken off, and ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems have been put on high alert.

These actions are preventive in nature and are aimed at protecting airspace and citizens, especially in areas adjacent to the danger zone," the Operational Command noted.
