Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev shared his views on peace talks with Armenia during his speech at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

Axar.az reports that the head of state said that we put forward five basic principles based on international law and presented a draft peace treaty. Then, the negotiation process on the draft text, which lasted from October 2022 to the summer of 2025, began on our initiative. Despite various provocations, the negotiations yielded positive results, as they were conducted only on a bilateral basis and there was no external interference.
