Aliyev condemns Armenian destruction of Azerbaijani cities

During the occupation, Armenia razed hundreds of our cities and villages to the ground, and purposefully destroyed 65 mosques. This was the policy of Armenia, which was ruled by war criminals for nearly 30 years.

Axar.az reports that these thoughts were voiced by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev during his speech at the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.

“We are rebuilding the razed villages and cities. More than 50 thousand people already live, work, and study in the liberated lands within the framework of the “Great Return” Program, the head of state said.
