A joint action plan for 2026-2027 was signed between the Ministries of Emergency Situations (MES) of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan within the framework of the XXVI International Conference of Heads of Fire and Rescue Services of the member countries of the International Sports Federation of Firefighters, and Rescuers held in Baku.

It was noted that the plan was signed by the Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan, Kamaladdin Heydarov, and the Minister of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan, Botir Kudratkhodjayev.
Kamaladdin Heydarov recalled that the relations between the countries, which have deep historical roots, have risen to the level of strategic partnership and alliance thanks to the wise and far-sighted policy based on mutual trust between the Presidents of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, and Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
In this context, the Minister, emphasizing the rapid expansion of relations between the Ministries of Emergency Situations of the two countries, expressed confidence that the meeting held would give impetus to the development of cooperation between the institutions. In this regard, it was noted that the joint action plan to be signed will create conditions for deepening the exchange of experience and raising relations to a qualitatively new level.
The Minister of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan, Botir Kudratkhodjayev, expressed gratitude for the cordial meeting and hospitality, as well as for the high-level organization of the 26th International Conference of Heads of Fire and Rescue Services of the member countries of the International Sports Federation of Firefighters and Rescuers in Baku.
