Iraqi Minister of Communications, Chairman of the Iraq-Azerbaijan Joint Commission, Khayyam al-Yasri, arrived in Azerbaijan on an official visit to discuss the progress of the implementation of agreements and memorandums of understanding signed between the two countries.

Axar.az reports that the visit is aimed at strengthening strategic partnerships in the economic and investment spheres, as well as exploring new opportunities for cooperation in the field of communications and digital development.

The Iraqi Ministry of Communications stated that Yasri's visit demonstrates Baghdad's intention to promote joint initiatives with Azerbaijan that contribute to economic and technological progress.
