Nar continues its support for building an inclusive society

Standing out for its commitment to inclusivity, Nar marks December 3 – International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The mobile operator places special importance on this date and continues its mission to promote diversity, equality, and inclusion across society. In 2025, Nar implemented nearly 10 inclusive social projects, reaching more than 500 individuals.

Axar.az reports that within these projects, participants were engaged in various trainings, social activities, as well as artistic and intellectual programs. All activities carried out throughout the year contributed to improving physical and emotional well-being, creating new social connections, and strengthening an inclusive mindset.

To build an inclusive environment for its subscribers, Nar provided sign-language training to its front-office staff, enabling them to serve customers with hearing impairments in sign language. Additionally, Nar supported the creation of the first sign-language mobile application in the country, as well as the launch of the first intellectual game format designed for people with speech impairments. These initiatives have significantly contributed to fostering sincere communication between vulnerable and non-vulnerable groups and raising public awareness on inclusion.

As a continuation of these efforts, Nar supported the production of an educational video dedicated to December 3 – International Day of Persons with Disabilities. Developed together with the DanceAbility Azerbaijan social enterprise, the video demonstrates the proper way of interacting with persons with disabilities in everyday life and highlights behaviors that people may unknowingly exhibit incorrectly. The message aims to help prevent such situations and emphasize the importance of ensuring equal participation opportunities for people with disabilities in society.
