Caspian Sea hit by consecutive earthquakes

A magnitude 3.2 earthquake struck the Caspian Sea.

Axar.az informs that according to the Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republican Seismological Service Center, the earthquake occurred at 03:03 local time on April 14, with the epicenter located at a depth of 29 kilometers.

In addition, another earthquake was recorded in the Caspian Sea at 06:43 local time.

The magnitude 3.1 quake occurred at a depth of 50 kilometers.

It is noted that increased seismic activity has been observed in the Caspian Sea in recent days.

A 3.8-magnitude earthquake has been recorded in the Caspian Sea.

The Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republican Seismological Service Center reported the information.

According to the report, the quake was registered at 10:00 local time on April 14.

The hypocenter was located at a depth of 5 kilometers.

A separate 3.1-magnitude earthquake, the fourth of the day, was also recorded in the Caspian Sea.

The Earthquake Research Bureau of the Republican Seismological Service Center said the tremor was registered at 10:21 local time on April 14.

The hypocenter was at a depth of 25 kilometers.
