AZTV has launched a new series of documentary films titled “We Are Proud of Our History.” The first production in the project is called “Sultan Hasan Bahadur.”

Axar.az reports according to AZTV’s press service, the film depicts the reign, life, and military achievements of the prominent Aq Qoyunlu ruler known in history as Uzun Hasan. It also highlights the role of his mother, Sara Khatun, who is presented as an influential stateswoman of her time with notable political wisdom.

"The 'We Are Proud of Our History' project has also marked a first for Azerbaijani broadcasting. The film 'Sultan Hasan Bahadur' is the first historical production to be created entirely using artificial intelligence technologies in its visual presentation.

The screenplay was written by Sarvar Bayramov, Mahir Garibov, and Sevda Huseyn, while the project consultant is PhD in History Sabuhi Ahmadov.

The project aims to present key figures and Azerbaijan’s historical heritage to a wider audience in a modern and engaging format", the statement said.
