EU–Azerbaijan talks report progress in Brussels

EU–Azerbaijan talks held in Brussels have resulted in productive and forward-looking discussions, according to the European Union’s Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Marijana Kujundzic.

Axar.az reports that Kujundzic, who is also Head of the EU Delegation to Azerbaijan, shared the update on her X account.

She noted that the talks were co-chaired by Deputy Managing Director Audrone Perkauskiene and Azerbaijan’s Deputy Foreign Minister Yalchin Rafiyev.

"EU–Azerbaijan talks held yesterday in Brussels, co-chaired by EU Deputy Managing Director Perkauskiene and Azerbaijani Deputy Foreign Minister Rafiyev, delivered fruitful and forward-looking discussions," she said.

According to her, significant progress was made on the bilateral agreement and partnership priorities during the discussions.

"Parties will reconvene in June in Baku to maintain momentum," she added.
