Hajiyev shows fake books at Gandzasar Monastery -

As previously reported, on the second day of their visit to Karabakh, representatives of the diplomatic corps toured the Gandzasar Monastery Complex in Azerbaijan’s Aghdara district, one of the religious and cultural centers of Caucasian Albania that was subjected to Armenian vandalism.

Axar.az reports that Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration, briefed the representatives on the falsifications carried out at the historic monastery during the period of Armenian occupation and the damage caused by the deliberate alteration of its architectural style.

The presidential aide demonstrated that books presented as an exhibition of ancient Armenian books and specially protected during the occupation were fake. Hajiyev showed that only one visible page of the books contained text and illustrations, while the remaining pages were blank, turning the pages of the book to demonstrate this.
