39 died of COVID-19 in Azerbaijan over the past day

2,047 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection were registered in Azerbaijan, and 2,610 people were treated and cured.

Axar.az reports citing the Task Force under the Cabinet of Ministers that 39 people who tested positive died.

So far, a total of 307,980 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus in the country, of which 272,575 have been treated and 4,274 have died. The number of active patients was 31,131.

During the last day, 12,542 tests were performed to identify new infections, and a total of 3,153,877 tests have been performed so far.
