Belarus and US make significant progress in Minsk talks

Belarus and the United States have made significant progress following the latest round of talks in Minsk.

Axar.az reports, citing Belarusian media, that US Special Envoy for Belarus John Coale made the remarks.

“We have made a lot of progress, from my point of view. And we will continue our joint work,” Coale said.

Trump's envoy also said, "We agreed to an interim deal, and as a show of goodwill Belarus will release 25 people and in exchange the United States will lift sanctions on two companies."
