Through the Organization of Turkish States (OTS), Turkey sent 200,000 doses of the Sinovac vaccine, Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan each sent 100,000 doses of the Sinovac vaccine, and Hungary sent 211,200 doses of Sinopharm vaccine to African countries.

Axar.az reports citing the Turkish Foreign Ministry.

The vaccines were delivered to Burkina Faso and Togo by a military cargo plane on December 6. "400,000 doses of Sinovac were given to Burkina Faso and 211,200 doses of Sinopharm were given to Togo."

It should be noted that the 8th TDT Summit stressed the importance of international solidarity in the fight against COVID-19 and said that vaccination assistance would be provided to African countries.
