Armenia should investigate and punish all war criminals accordingly.

Axar.az reports that Hikmat Hajiyev, assistant to the President of Azerbaijan - Head of the Department of Foreign Policy of the Presidential Administration, wrote about this on the social network.

"New mass graves were discovered in Syrkhavand village of Azerbaijan, which was liberated from Armenian occupation. One of the most serious consequences of Armenia's military aggression against Azerbaijan for 30 years is the fate of missing persons. More than 4,000 Azerbaijanis were tortured and killed by Armenia in concentration camps and buried in mass graves. To date, Armenia has not punished a single person responsible for these crimes. On the contrary, they were praised and rewarded. Armenia hides all history and information about the location of mass graves.

"Armenia should recognize the state's responsibility for all these crimes and demonstrate its true commitment to transitional justice and post-conflict reconciliation, and investigate and punish all war criminals accordingly," he said.
