Recently, the representative of Iran in Qazvin province, the Friday imam of Qazvin city, Abdolkarim Abedini, who used insulting language against the leader of the Azerbaijani state, has been removed from his position.

Axar.az informs that Iranian media reported this news.

However, Iranian government websites presented it as "resigning voluntarily."

It is worth recalling that a few days ago, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed Iran's charge d'affaires in Baku that the anti-Azerbaijani activities of several government clerics, including the Friday imam of Qazvin, were unacceptable.
