This flag is a goal and a dream for many of our people in temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.

Axar.az informs President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky made this statement today during the celebrations of the Day of the State Flag of Ukraine.

"They protect this flag because they know: we will not give our land to the occupier. This flag symbolizes the most precious thing for hundreds of thousands of our soldiers – men and women from all over Ukraine – who defend not just a particular area like Vovchansk or Dobropillia, but all of Ukraine, risking their lives to secure the right to life for our entire country," he said.
