India to develop fighter jet engines with French company

India is working with a French company to develop and manufacture fighter jet engines in the country.

Axar.az informs, citing Times of India, "We have taken steps forward to build our fifth-generation fighter aircraft. We have also moved towards manufacturing the aircraft's engine in India itself. We are about to start engine manufacturing work in India with the French company Safran," Defence minister Rajnath Singh said.
