Azerbaijani, Russian FMs discuss regional issues

On August 23, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov and his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov held a phone conversation.

Axar.az informs, citing the Azerbaijani MFA, the two ministers discussed several issues on the bilateral and multilateral agenda, including political, economic, and humanitarian cooperation, as well as regional and international security.

They also exchanged views on the latest meeting of the Intergovernmental State Commission on Economic Cooperation, held on August 22 in Astrakhan, and praised the outcomes of the session.

The call also covered other matters of mutual interest.
