Yilmaz says Baku–Yerevan peace very important for Turkiye

Ending the Armenia–Azerbaijan conflict in the South Caucasus and concluding the current peace process with the signing of a relevant agreement is very important for Turkiye.

Axar.az reports that this was stated by Turkiye’s Vice President Cevdet Yilmaz during his speech at the event titled “Meeting of the Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia Regions.”

Yilmaz said that Turkiye seeks to achieve lasting peace in the South Caucasus.

“The implementation of the Zangezur Corridor and the Middle Corridor in the region is important for Turkiye, as these routes will not only establish land links with member states of the Organization of Turkic States but also contribute to the development of trade between Asia and Europe. The region’s economy will grow,” the vice president added.
