Qarabag part ways with Mateusz Kochalski

Qarabag FC have parted ways with Polish goalkeeper Mateusz Kochalski.

Axar.az reports that, according to the club, Qarabag accepted an offer from Polish club Wieczysta as well as the player’s wish to leave.

Negotiations between the clubs were successfully concluded, and an agreement was reached on the goalkeeper’s transfer.

The Polish goalkeeper joined Qarabag in the summer of 2024 and made 76 appearances for the club. During his time with Qarabag, he won the Azerbaijani championship in the 2024/25 season, helped the team reach the UEFA Champions League play-off round for a place in the last 16, and ranked among the tournament’s top three goalkeepers with 40 saves.
