'Flying Doctor' helicopter crashes in Malaysia

A "flying doctor service" helicopter ​crashed in Malaysia on Tuesday near ‌an airport on Borneo island.

Axar.az reports, citing Malaysian media, that according to preliminary information, a BO-105 helicopter operated by Layang-Layang Aerospace was carrying five people, including the pilot.

The helicopter was conducting a medical flight and carrying medical staff.

It was reported that the helicopter crashed at the end of the runway. An explosion followed, and the helicopter caught fire.

There is currently no information on the fate of those on board.
