A delegation of diplomats accredited in Azerbaijan, including military attachés and heads of international organizations, has arrived at the Lachin International Airport.

Axar.az reports that the plane carrying members of the diplomatic corps landed at the airport in the morning.

As part of the visit, diplomats and military attachés had the opportunity to observe the ongoing reconstruction efforts in Lachin firsthand.

As part of their visit to Lachin, representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Azerbaijan visited the “LaCinema” cinema center.

A film was screened for the guests showcasing Lachin’s path to revival, its reconstruction, modern development, and rich cultural-tourism potential.

After the screening, the Special Representative of the President in the Lachin district, Masim Mammadov, gave a presentation on the tragic consequences of the occupation period. He also provided information on the reconstruction and development efforts in the liberated territories, as well as the region’s tourism potential and infrastructure.

During their visit to Lachin, the diplomatic corps representatives also visited the Seyrangah viewpoint and the “Gilabi Ceramics” center.

There, the guests were briefed on the facilities created in the area.

At Seyrangah, they viewed Lachin from an elevated perspective, while at Gilabi Ceramics, they examined samples of local ceramic art.

It should be noted that the delegation includes ambassadors, representatives of international organizations, and military attachés — in total, nearly 100 diplomats.

The delegation is accompanied by Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan and Head of the Foreign Policy Affairs Department of the Presidential Administration.

On June 21, the diplomatic corps will continue their visit to Shusha and Aghdam.
