On June 25, the Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, met with military personnel of the Ministry of Defense who were awarded the highest military ranks in accordance with the relevant Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

First, the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated June 25, 2025 on awarding the highest military rank of "major general" to military personnel of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the relevant order of the Minister of Defense were read out.

Presenting the highest military ranks to the military personnel, the Minister of Defense conveyed the congratulations of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, wished them success in their future service, and gave instructions and recommendations.

The awarded officers expressed their gratitude to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Ilham Aliyev and the leadership of the Ministry of Defense for the trust shown, and expressed confidence that they would justify the trust shown.
