The "Azerbaijani Women's Republican Society" (AQRC) has addressed an appeal to women's organizations and societies operating in Russia.

Axar.az reports that the appeal expresses deep concern about the chauvinistic rhetoric and manifestations of discrimination against Azerbaijanis in Russia in recent days.

"We women have been the pillars of our societies in protecting human rights, peace, and mutual respect. Today, demonstrating a common position against calls that promote chauvinistic and national discrimination is a demand of both women's solidarity and human values.

We, as women, are always active and determined to protect our rights and establish justice among people! Express a joint and tough position against prejudice and chauvinistic rhetoric against the Azerbaijani people! Defend the principles of peace, mutual respect, and equality!", the appeal states.
