Detention Shahin Lalayev extended in Yekaterinburg

The detention of Azerbaijani citizen Shahin Lalayev has been extended until July 19 by the Lenin District Court in Yekaterinburg.

Axar.az reports Lalayev was detained on June 26 during raids conducted by Russian security forces in Yekaterinburg. On June 29, the court ordered a three-day detention for him.

It is worth noting that on the morning of June 27, the Russian Federal Security Service carried out raids on the homes of Azerbaijanis in Yekaterinburg. During these operations, two people were killed and several others injured.
