There were no complaints against the news agency "Sputnik Azerbaijan" in the republic.

Axar.az informs this was stated by Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova.

"I want to point out that all these years, this media outlet has been operating, with mostly Azerbaijani citizens working on its platform, along with some Russian citizens. The Azerbaijani side has never had any complaints about this media outlet—neither regarding its format nor its content," she said.

It should be noted that the Ministry of Internal Affairs conducted an operation at the “Sputnik Azerbaijan” office, detaining seven individuals. Two of them have been placed under pre-trial detention.
