Ayaz Safarov and Shahid Lalayev, accused of crimes committed in Yekaterinburg in 2001, 2010, and 2011, have filed an appeal against the decision to impose pre-trial detention against them.
Axar.az informs, citing APА, our compatriots have filed an appeal to overturn the 22-day pre-trial detention imposed on them by the first instance court.
Note that the Leninsky District Court of Yekaterinburg ordered pre-trial detention for Ayaz, Akif, Mazahir, Kamal, and Bakir Safarovs, Ahliman Ganjiev, Shahid Lalayev, and Aziz Abasov. Akif Safarov also filed an appeal against the detention decision.
Requests have been received from lawyers regarding Safarov and Lalayev.
Recall that on the morning of June 27, the Russian FSB raided the homes of Azerbaijanis in Yekaterinburg. During the raid, two people were killed, and several others were injured.
