Azerbaijani table tennis player sets world record

Azerbaijani table tennis player, Nihad Mammadov, has entered the Guinness World Records.

Axar.az reports that the national team member set the record at the “Shua Sports Complex.”

He achieved the feat by breaking the world record for the longest-distance serve in table tennis.

The previous record was held by Turkish athlete Osman Gurcu (16.70 meters). N. Mammadov succeeded in performing the serve from a distance of 17 meters.
